Description:

MTEC Electromechanical Works L.L.C is hiring experienced Duct Supervisors for MEP construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise HVAC duct fabrication and installation activities.

• Plan and allocate manpower to duct foremen, technicians and helpers.

• Ensure ductwork is fabricated and installed according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

• Supervise GI and pre-insulated duct installation, supports, hangers, dampers, flexible connections, grilles and diffusers.

• Check duct sizes, elevations, routes and coordination with other MEP services.

• Coordinate with HVAC piping, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and civil teams.

• Monitor fabrication quality, sealing, insulation and installation workmanship.

• Ensure proper installation of access doors, fire/smoke dampers and related accessories.

• Coordinate inspections with QA/QC and consultant representatives.

• Monitor manpower productivity, materials and progress.

• Identify clashes, technical issues and material shortages.

• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Duct Supervisor in HVAC/MEP construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of GI and/or pre-insulated duct fabrication and installation.

• Ability to read HVAC duct shop drawings and coordination drawings.

• Knowledge of duct supports, accessories, insulation and installation standards.

• Strong manpower supervision and coordination ability.

• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
