MTEC Electromechanical Works L.L.C is hiring 5 Electrical Project Engineers for MEP project site execution in Abu Dhabi.

The Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for site execution, coordination, supervision, material follow-up, inspection preparation, and progress reporting for electrical and low-current MEP works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and monitor electrical site works as per approved shop drawings and project specifications.
• Supervise electrical supervisors, foremen, technicians, helpers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate electrical, lighting, power, containment, cabling, earthing, fire alarm, ELV, and low-current works.
• Prepare daily site plans, manpower allocation, and work priorities.
• Follow up material requests, material delivery, site storage, and installation readiness.
• Coordinate with engineering team for shop drawings, material submittals, load schedules, and technical clarifications.
• Prepare and submit inspection requests, MIRs, WIRs, and related quality documents.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and close-out of comments.
• Monitor work progress, productivity, and daily achievements.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, architectural, and other trades to avoid clashes and rework.
• Report site issues, delays, material shortages, and technical concerns to management.
• Support testing, commissioning, energization, snagging, as-built drawings, and handover documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in MEP contracting projects.
• Good knowledge of electrical power, lighting, containment, cabling, fire alarm, ELV, and low-current systems.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of authority approvals and inspection procedures is an advantage.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
