MTEC Electromechanical Works L.L.C is hiring 4 Electrical Construction Managers for MEP project site execution in Abu Dhabi.

The Electrical Construction Manager will manage electrical construction activities including power distribution, lighting, containment, cabling, earthing, fire alarm, ELV, low-current systems, testing, and related electrical works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily electrical site activities including containment, wiring, cabling, panels, lighting, power, ELV, fire alarm, and low-current systems.
  • Supervise electrical project engineers, supervisors, foremen, technicians, and subcontractors.
  • Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements, load schedules, and project documents.
  • Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and work fronts to meet project targets.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, civil, architectural, QA/QC, HSE, planning, procurement, and commercial teams.
  • Monitor work progress and ensure electrical works are completed as per project schedule.
  • Ensure site works are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, and authority requirements.
  • Coordinate material delivery, installation sequence, inspection readiness, and testing requirements.
  • Resolve site issues, technical clashes, installation conflicts, and coordination problems.
  • Support MIR, WIR, testing, commissioning, consultant inspections, and authority inspections.
  • Monitor manpower productivity and material usage.
  • Support testing, commissioning, energization, handover, snagging, as-built drawings, and close-out documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong experience in electrical construction management in MEP contracting.
  • Good knowledge of power, lighting, containment, cabling, earthing, fire alarm, ELV, and low-current systems.
  • UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of authority requirements is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
