MTEC Electromechanical Works L.L.C is hiring 4 Mechanical Construction Managers for MEP project site execution in Abu Dhabi.

The Mechanical Construction Manager will manage mechanical construction activities including HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting, ventilation, and related mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily mechanical site activities including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting, chilled water, and mechanical systems.
• Supervise mechanical project engineers, supervisors, foremen, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements before execution.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and work fronts to achieve project targets.
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, architectural, QA/QC, HSE, planning, procurement, and commercial teams.
• Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed as per project schedule.
• Ensure mechanical works are executed as per approved shop drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate material delivery, site storage, installation sequence, and inspection requirements.
• Resolve site issues, clashes, and technical problems with the engineering team.
• Support MIR, WIR, testing, commissioning, consultant inspections, and authority inspections.
• Monitor productivity and ensure proper utilization of manpower and materials.
• Support project handover, snagging, as-built drawings, and close-out activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience in mechanical construction management in MEP contracting.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting, and mechanical systems.
• UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
