Position: HVAC Supervisor

Description:

MTEC Electromechanical Works L.L.C is hiring experienced HVAC Supervisors for MEP construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise HVAC installation activities and site manpower.

  • Ensure HVAC works comply with approved drawings, specifications and method statements.

  • Supervise installation of chilled water/refrigerant piping, AC equipment, FCUs, AHUs, pumps, drain piping and associated HVAC systems.

  • Coordinate HVAC works with ducting, electrical, plumbing and civil activities.

  • Plan daily and weekly manpower requirements and allocate work to foremen and technicians.

  • Monitor pipe installation, insulation, brazing, pressure testing and equipment installation.

  • Coordinate testing, inspections and commissioning activities.

  • Review drawings and identify coordination issues or clashes.

  • Monitor productivity, workmanship, material utilization and project progress.

  • Coordinate inspections with QA/QC personnel and consultants.

  • Ensure compliance with site HSE procedures and PPE requirements.

  • Maintain progress, manpower and installation records.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an HVAC Supervisor in MEP/building construction projects.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment and piping installations.

  • Ability to read HVAC shop drawings and coordination drawings.

  • Knowledge of chilled water/refrigerant systems, drainage, insulation, testing and commissioning.

  • Ability to manage foremen, technicians and helpers.

  • UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

  • Good leadership and site coordination skills.
