Description:

MTEC Electromechanical Works L.L.C is hiring experienced Duct Foremen for MEP construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead duct technicians and helpers during fabrication and installation activities.

  • Execute ductwork according to approved shop drawings and supervisor instructions.

  • Supervise fabrication and installation of GI and/or pre-insulated duct systems.

  • Check measurements, duct sizes, elevations, routing and supports before installation.

  • Supervise installation of flanges, cleats, hangers, supports, dampers and other duct accessories.

  • Ensure joints are properly sealed and installed to the required quality standard.

  • Coordinate installation with other MEP trades to prevent clashes.

  • Organize manpower, tools and materials for daily activities.

  • Report material shortages, drawing issues and site progress to the Duct Supervisor.

  • Ensure workers follow safe fabrication and installation procedures.

  • Maintain acceptable workmanship and housekeeping standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Duct Foreman in HVAC/MEP construction.

  • Strong practical experience with GI and/or pre-insulated ductwork.

  • Ability to understand duct shop drawings and measurements.

  • Experience supervising duct technicians and helpers.

  • Knowledge of fabrication, supports, sealing and installation techniques.

  • UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
