Description:

MTEC Electromechanical Works L.L.C is hiring experienced Duct Technicians for MEP construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and install HVAC ductwork according to approved drawings and instructions.

• Measure, mark, cut, assemble and install GI and/or pre-insulated duct sections.

• Install duct flanges, cleats, connectors, supports and hangers.

• Install dampers, access doors, flexible connections, grilles, diffusers and associated accessories.

• Carry out proper duct joining, sealing and finishing.

• Follow approved dimensions, elevations and duct routing.

• Assist with insulation and final duct finishing where required.

• Coordinate with the foreman during installation and report site difficulties.

• Use fabrication and installation tools safely and correctly.

• Maintain good workmanship and protect completed installations.

• Follow all project safety rules and PPE requirements.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Duct Technician/Fabricator in HVAC construction.

• Practical experience in GI and/or pre-insulated duct fabrication and installation.

• Ability to take measurements and understand basic duct drawings.

• Familiarity with hand tools and duct fabrication equipment.

• Knowledge of different duct fittings including elbows, reducers, branches and transitions.

• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

• Ability to work safely and follow supervisor instructions.
