Description:

MTEC Electromechanical Works L.L.C is hiring experienced Plumbing Supervisors for MEP construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise plumbing, drainage, water supply and sanitary installation activities on site.

• Plan and allocate manpower according to daily and weekly work requirements.

• Ensure works are executed according to approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.

• Coordinate plumbing activities with civil, electrical, HVAC and other MEP disciplines.

• Monitor installation of piping systems, pumps, valves, sanitary fixtures and associated equipment.

• Ensure proper testing, flushing, pressure testing and inspection of completed works.

• Coordinate inspections with QA/QC engineers, consultants and project management.

• Monitor productivity, material usage and site progress.

• Identify technical issues, clashes and material shortages and report them to the Construction Manager/Project Engineer.

• Ensure workers comply with HSE requirements, PPE rules and site safety procedures.

• Maintain daily progress and manpower records.

• Ensure proper housekeeping and protection of completed works.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Plumbing Supervisor in MEP contracting/construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of plumbing, drainage, water supply and sanitary systems.

• Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications and MEP coordination drawings.

• Good knowledge of testing, commissioning and inspection requirements.

• Ability to supervise foremen, technicians and helpers.

• UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred.

• Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
