Electrical Foreman

Title: Electrical Foremen
Position: Electrical Foreman

Description:

MTEC Electromechanical Works L.L.C is hiring experienced Electrical Foremen for MEP construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electricians and helpers during electrical installation activities.

  • Execute works according to approved drawings, specifications and supervisor instructions.

  • Supervise installation of PVC/GI conduits, cable trays, trunking, cables, wiring, DBs, switches and sockets.

  • Check conduit routes, box locations, supports and installation quality.

  • Supervise cable pulling, dressing, glanding, lugging and termination activities.

  • Allocate manpower, tools and materials for daily work.

  • Coordinate with other trades to prevent clashes and rework.

  • Assist with continuity, insulation resistance and other electrical testing.

  • Report technical issues, material shortages and site progress to the Electrical Supervisor.

  • Ensure tools and equipment are used correctly and safely.

  • Enforce PPE and electrical safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman in MEP/construction projects.

  • Strong practical knowledge of electrical installations.

  • Ability to read electrical shop drawings and layouts.

  • Experience with conduits, cable containment, wiring, cables, DBs and terminations.

  • Ability to lead electricians and helpers.

  • UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

  • Good site coordination and problem-solving skills.
