MTEC Electromechanical Works L.L.C is hiring 5 Mechanical Project Engineers for MEP project site execution in Abu Dhabi.

The Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for site execution, coordination, supervision, material follow-up, inspection preparation, and progress reporting for mechanical MEP works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and monitor mechanical site works as per approved shop drawings and project specifications.
• Supervise mechanical supervisors, foremen, technicians, helpers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting, chilled water, and ventilation activities.
• Prepare daily site plans, manpower allocation, and work priorities.
• Follow up material requests, material delivery, site storage, and installation readiness.
• Coordinate with engineering team for shop drawings, material submittals, and technical clarifications.
• Prepare and submit inspection requests, MIRs, WIRs, and related quality documents.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and close-out of comments.
• Monitor work progress, productivity, and daily achievements.
• Coordinate with other trades to avoid clashes and rework.
• Report site issues, delays, material shortages, and technical concerns to management.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, as-built drawings, and handover documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in MEP contracting projects.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting, chilled water, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection requests, and site documentation.
